We all love pets. When you’re bored or upset, the little buddies are there for you. They do however, pose a challenge to your home’s cleanliness.

Carpet cleaning method for wet pet stains

Home pet cleaning is a bit more complicated than normal cleaning. You always need to have emergency detergent in case of an accident. Unfortunately, most detergents contain chemical substances that are harmful to you, your family, your pet, and the environment. Instead we suggest for you to take a natural way and use the following:

– 1 Cup of water

– 1 Cup of vinegar

– 2 Teaspoons of baking soda

  • A spray bottles
  • Some pieces of paper towel

– A clean towel

– An oil of your choice (to remove the unpleasant smell of urine or pet stool)

– A vacuum cleaner with appropriate accessories

For urine, diarrhea or vomiting, mix the water and vinegar and pour it into the bottle. You should avoid any rubbing and instead push the Paper towel pieces onto the dirty surface. This action helps to dry the surface by soaking the waste into the paper towel. Then spray the mixture that you have made onto the surface. Sprinkle the baking soda on it and let it stay for 15 minutes. Then clean it with the clean towel and sweep it up with a vacuum cleaner.

Carpet cleaning method for dry pet stains

Many times, your pet stains are solid. In this case, to clean the carpet, you need the following:

– 2 tablespoons of baking soda

– Vacuum cleaner

– A knife

You want professional cleaning and without damaging your carpet, do not use a towel on solid stains. The towel can render dirt into the carpet and make the cleaning harder than it was. Instead of a towel, you should use a knife. Merely put the edge of the knife on the carpet and remove all dirt. Then you can set the baking soda on the carpet and after a few minutes clean it with a vacuum cleaner.
